Happy Birthday Andy!
Andy is 29 today! I can't believe it. I remember so vividly the day he was born. I ate a big bowl of chili and watched Saturday Night Live. As soon as I settled down to sleep, he decided to make his debut. He was born the next afternoon after lots of waiting.
He was the cutest and sweetest little kid! I loved Christmas and his birthdays because he was so much fun to watch with his presents. He loved everything and was so excited with whatever he got.
He has always been so creative and smart. He was walking at 7 and a half months. He was talking very well at 18 months. He was anxious to know about everything. He loved books and still does. He had an enormous vocabulary for a two year old. He would memorize his recorded books on his Fisher Price record player. He loved Batman! From one of the Batman stories, he memorized,"He is a paranoid maniac and a menace to society. Maybe a frontal lobotomy would help in his case." He would let that one spew out and got interesting looks from everyone.
We love Andy lots and lots! I don't think he realizes just how great he is. But I know. You know why? Because I'm his mother!

There's no place like home- except Utah for Phil and me. We enjoyed being with all our kids. Christmas was great! The snow was beautiful!
Mason and Harper were delighted with all their gifts. It was really fun watching them wake on Christmas morning. (We were up and waiting rather impatiently for them to wake up!) Santa was very good to them.
We enjoyed being with Andy, Lindsay, Lauren and Taylor. We've got sweet kids!

SNOW!!!
We are in Utah with our kids and grandkids and there's lots of snow! We have finished our shopping and now we are waiting for Santa to come. Phil has been a real trooper- he has driven us everywhere in the snow. He HATES to shop so this was a true act of kindness, considering that it's the craziest time to shop in the entire year.
I have lots of fun pictures and videos to add, but not now. I didn't bring the cord to my camera. Oh dear.

Spoiled
When we had young children, we always had dark upholstered furniture for obvious reasons. Things have changed.Jack is the reason we have white furniture. If you've ever had a Jack Russell, you know how much hair they constantly leave behind. His hair goes everywhere with us. Tonight at church, my brown socks looked like mohair socks. Long after he's gone, we'll still be picking white dog hair off of our clothing and furniture. Lauren, we're bringing his hair when we visit. (FYI -Jack was Lauren's dog!)
