Yum!

There's a bakery in Milledgeville, Georgia that makes my favorite cookies in the whole wide world. They're rightly named "Smiley Face Cookies". I can't resist a trip to buy a few every time I visit my mom. The name of the bakery is Ryals. They have the best cakes, cookies, and pastries ever! However, it's the Smiley Face Cookie that is their claim to fame. They ship them everywhere. I have never found a better cookie anywhere and believe me, I have been to MANY bakeries in my time. Hello Smiley Face, goodbye diet!

Andy and Lindsay are considering a move to Charleston. It would be so great to have them here with us. I love these guys! Utah is just beautiful and great, but too far away. I would love to provide lodging for all the Peterson's when they visit. We'll call it the Chucktown B&B. We would love to share SC with y'all! Get packing!

Back Home and Bored

I picked Jack up from his 2 week vacation at the Bed and Biscuit. It's his time to get to be a real dog. Jack always comes home a bit leaner and really tired. They must be party animals at that place. Anyway, he ran in the house looking for the kids and was sad? relieved? to find them gone. I think he behaved quite well with the grandkids. He only nipped at Mason twice. I would have chewed his arms and feet off.

We created a playroom for Mason and Harper. I love having a good project! We shopped and sewed and painted. It was really fun!

We had a great time in Utah. We especially love the cool mornings and evenings. People kept complaining that the weather was hot. They don't know hot. Try heat with 90% humidity.

It was fun being with friends and family. We visited Somer and her adorable kids. We had a great mini reunion of sorts with all the Gerald siblings and kids. We were just missing the parents. I told you guys to get tickets and come with us!

Phil and I left our hearts in Utah.
