There's a bakery in Milledgeville, Georgia that makes my favorite cookies in the whole wide world. They're rightly named "Smiley Face Cookies". I can't resist a trip to buy a few every time I visit my mom. The name of the bakery is Ryals. They have the best cakes, cookies, and pastries ever! However, it's the Smiley Face Cookie that is their claim to fame. They ship them everywhere. I have never found a better cookie anywhere and believe me, I have been to MANY bakeries in my time. I remember my very first smiley face cookie. We went on a kindergarten field trip downtown in 1982 and we all got smiley face cookies.
They are my absolute favorites and I buy them for my children now on special occasions.
