I'm so happy that I made the change in schools. I'm absolutely thrilled to go to work each day. I have found joy in teaching again. My students are delightful. It is so refreshing to have parents that support the education of their child. It is amazing to go to work and not worry about AYP or scores or failing schools. I am finding myself a little shellshocked. I have to remind myself that we can actually have fun at school and not worry!
You have to experience something really dreadful to appreciate normal.

When you retire, you need to come teach my kids. I think they would love Sister Friendly as their teacher. But I suppose you are too young to be retiring anytime soon.
The other day I went to a literacy class. Almost everything they talked about I had already learned from you. See, you teach even when you aren't at school.
