My favorite holiday is Halloween- all the spooky scary stuff is what I love.
My grandma made a witch costume back in probably 1959 or 1960. It's our family heirloom. My aunt wore it first. Then it was handed down to me. My two sisters wore it. Lauren wore it. She didn't want to be a witch because they're not glamorous enough for her, but I forced her to wear it when she was probably in second grade. I had to doll it up with orange ribbon and such. My nieces have worn it. I'm not sure who has it their possession, but I'm looking forward to my little Harper wearing it trick or treating someday. Weird tradition, huh?
Anyway, I'm sure Grandma Ruth never thought that costume would get that much action. Thank you Grandma!
P.S. Andy- you're lucky I didn't try to make you wear it!

I love Halloween too! What a fun tradition. Harper would look so cute in that costume...I have a feeling that she might be like Lauren and not want to be a witch though:)
i love your blog page decor. i'm trying to convince lana to be a witch because we have an awesome costume as well, but she'll have nothing to do with it. want's to be the skanky vampire girl. go figure.
I love the witch costume! This was the year Carly was supposed to wear it, but Tami won't give it up. She's always been somewhat of a bratty little sister, huh? Not a really fun one like me...one that never got on your nerves or wore your clothes when we were younger, right? Happy Halloween!
