Things to Do This Summer

Today is the first day of my summer vacation.  What am I going to do with exactly 68 days of freedom?  Well....
1. Organize that cave I call "my closet".  It's a multipurpose room.  It serves as attic, garage, and a home for my clothes.  That means throwing away tons of junk sadly parting with years of memories in boxes that I never open.  Phil says not to throw away our lives. History.  Hmmmmm.  Maybe I've been watching too many episodes of "Hoarders".

2. Organize my craft room.  I love making "stuff' and I need to come up with a system that keeps all my "stuff" under control.  I'm looking at this room right now and it does not give off creative vibes. : /

3.  Paint and redecorate my bedroom.  I need a theme for this one.  Right now the theme seems to be "Someone ransacked this place!"  I think relaxed will be better that ransacked.  I've been reflecting on what to do with this space for quite some time.

4. Get the nerve to put the dreaded swimwear on.  I think they call it a sun tent when it gets to my size.  Mason and Harper will enjoy sitting in the shade that I make at the beach.

5.  Visit and have fun with my family.  I love having the days off to go and do some visiting.  I've got a fun family and I enjoy spending time with them.

SOOOOO...... I've got to get busy with my projects before the fun can start.  Lauren and the kids will be here in 17 more days.  I've got to get crackin'!

You've planned so many items to do! I hope redecorating of the room proved to be very fortunate and you remained satisfied with it!
